The designer Mrs Walford who designed the logo whilst supporting our Kapa Haka.
Ngā Hau e Whā . . . the four winds
The koru was used to personify youth, to create a motif design that is an interpretation of Ngā Hau e Whā.
Four of the koru depict the four areas:
Te Hau Tonga (South Wind), Te Hau Raki (North Wind), Te Hau Rawhiti (East Wind) and Te Hau aa Uru (West Wind), bringing them tightly together into undivided design.
The design symbolises unity: balance and harmony, working together to grow and develop.
